Nintendo Price Drops 3DS, But Makes It Up to Early Adopters With 20 Video Game Classics for Free

Less than 5 months after the Nintendo 3DS launched, and just days after all of the promised bells and whistles that made folks run out and buy it finally released Nintendo announced that on August 12th they will be dropping the retail price by $80.

So what about all of those folks who helped make it the fastest selling handheld in history when it first released back on March 27th, 2011? Well, Nintendo is going to try and make it up to them with the exclusive 3DS Ambassador Program which offers up 10 Nintendo Entertainment Systems retro re-releases, followed by another 10 Game Boy Advance classics later this year.
