Individual entry to Las Vegas Minecraft convention priced at $99 until September 30, $140 thereafter; keynote speeches, costume contests, breakout classes, and more promised.
Last week, Markus "Notch" Persson announced that his indie game Minecraft would join the likes of BlizzCon and Call of Duty: XP and offer fans a themed convention called MineCon. At the time, he didn't offer many details about the event, but now ticketing information and more is available.
Tickets for MineCon--which will be held in Las Vegas from November 18-19--are currently available at the convention's website. Gamers can purchase tickets to the two-day event at $99 each until September 30, and for $139 thereafter. No one under the age of 16 can attend MineCon without an adult.
Additionally, the first 500 to register for the event will be entered to win the "Ultimate Fan Experience," which includes hotel for three nights, VIP seating for keynote speeches and classes, and a meal with Minecraft developer Mojang.
As for the event itself, MineCon will offer keynote speeches, including one from Minecraft creator Notch. Additionally, those who travel to Las Vegas for the convention will be able to attend build contests, breakout classes concerning various Minecraft topics, and costume contests. Fore more on MineCon, head to the event's website.
Great! It sounds good. Thanks for sharing..
