Four-disc album to be sold a day before game's release in Japan.
Based on GameSpot's previous coverage of the upcoming RPG Final Fantasy XIII-2, the game will feature a varied soundtrack that is quite different from its prequel. As such, Square Enix announced on its official website that it will be selling the game's OST in physical form on December 14 in Japan, which is one day before the game's release in Japan for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The OST will be split into four discs. Gamers in Japan can choose to buy either the standard version for 3,990 yen and a limited version for 4,800 which includes a bonus DVD. RPG fans can check out a few samples of the OST on the official page. There isn't any word on whether the OST will be available as a digital download.
