Interactive Entertainment delays first-person shooter take on the Batman franchise for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC without explanation. The real Batman is punctual, always arriving in the nick of time to save the day and thwart the Joker's latest villainous schemes. Fake Batmen are less so, as evidenced by today's announcement from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment that Gotham City Impostors has been delayed to next month. This is what happens when cosplayers throw down. Previously expected to launch January 10, Gotham City Impostors is a downloadable first-person shooter set in Batman's stomping grounds with teams of Dark Knight-inspired vigilantes taking on mobs of Joker-themed goons. The game will allow for extensive customization of player characters, including exaggerated costumes and "homebrew" weaponry.
