EA CFO resigns Feb 9th 2012, 02:45 Eric Brown departing publisher for communications techy company Polycom; former McAfee, Logitech IT manager named chief technology officer. Electronic Arts is losing one of its top executives. The company today announced that chief financial officer Eric Brown is leaving EA. EA is losing one of its top staffers. While EA searches for a replacement, eight-year company veteran Ken Barker will fill the vacant role as interim CFO. Brown had served as CFO at EA since 2008. According to an EA statement, Brown has decided to join communications technology company Polycom to become more deeply involved in operations. In addition to the departure of Brown, EA also announced today that it has hired former McAfee, Logitech, and Cisco information systems manager Mark Tonnesen to become senior vice president and chief information officer at EA. Tonnesen will report to EA CTO Rajat Taneja. Last week, EA reported its holiday quarter financial results, showing a $205 million net loss during the quarter on $1.06 billion in total revenue.
