There will soon be another iOS device for gamers to use. Apple will announce the iPad 3 at an event in San Francisco next month, according to sources speaking with The Wall Street Journal's All Things Digital. The iPad 3 will soon come to light, sources say. The sources did not say when Apple will begin selling the iPad 3, but if its release schedule falls in line with that of the iPad 2, users can expect to have the device a week after it is announced. This latest speculation falls in line with a rumor from last month that pegged the iPad 3 to be available for purchase in March. That speculation suggested Apple had its Chinese production factories operating 24 hours a day to manufacture the necessary volume for launch. As for the iPad 3 (or whatever Apple decides to call the device), it is believed to boast a similar form factor to the iPad 2 but will sport a significantly faster processor, a high-definition screen, and LTE network support that will carry data faster than the iPad 2's present 3G speeds.
