Bethesda shipping $30, four-disc music compilation for open-world action RPG one week after game's Nov. 11 release.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is being billed as the biggest game in the franchise to date, and it appears as if its soundtrack is being made to match. Today, Bethesda Softworks announced Skyrim's soundtrack will be available as a four-disc set, priced at $29.99. The music compilation is slated to ship the week after the game's November 11 release date.

Currently available for preorder through DirectSong, Skyrim's soundtrack was composed by Jeremy Soule. Beyond the Elder Scrolls franchise, Soule's work can be found in such games as Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Guild Wars. Those who preorder Skyrim's soundtrack before December 23 will receive copies signed by Soule.

Bethesda intends to also release the Skyrim soundtrack through iTunes. The publisher expects to have details on that release at a later date.
