Last month, Microsoft announced new Xbox 360 console bundles that included stand-alone and Kinect-included options. For those who already have a console but have yet to jump into the motion-controlled arena, Microsoft has introduced a new Kinect bundle.
Announced today via director of Xbox Live programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb's blog, the new Kinect Sensor Holiday Bundle will be shipping soon in the US for $149 with three games. Kinect Adventures will be included in the box, and The Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja Kinect will be offered as downloads via Xbox Live. The Gunstringer is currently available on disc, but this bundle marks the first, and currently only, way to get the game digitally. A code to download Fruit Ninja Kinect is included in all retail copies of the Gunstringer.
The Gunstringer follows an undead marionette cowboy on a quest for revenge. Shoot-'em-up gameplay has players traversing through various diorama-like levels designed as though they were the setting of an elaborate puppet show. The game's developer, Twisted Pixel, was acquired by Microsoft last month.
The Kinect Sensor Holiday Bundle will be available at a range of retailers for a limited time while supplies last. For more on the newly included titles, check out GameSpot's reviews of The Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja Kinect.
