$40 single-player iteration of id Software's shooter now live for Apple computers, includes Anarchy Edition content and Wasteland Sewers missions.
Mac gamers can finally get their Rage on. Bethesda today announced that a single-player-only version of last year's shooter is now available to download for Apple computers.
The Rage: Campaign Edition includes the entire campaign from October's shooter, Anarchy Edition content (weapons, buggy, and armor), and the Wasteland Sewer missions, which were new purchase incentives for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.
The game is available in English, French, and German through Apple's Mac App Store, publisher Aspyr's proprietary store Game Agent, and "other" Mac digital distribution outlets.
Rage is set on a postapocalyptic Earth in the midst of recovering from an asteroid collision, where humans have emerged from underground "arks" like the vaults in the Fallout games.
Players assume the role of a survivor who has emerged from an ark and subsequently been outfitted with an array of performance-enhancing nanotechnology and some powerful ranged weaponry.
