Porsche, Lamborghini, Lexus models among seven rides found only in Sony console edition of EA's upcoming racer.
Need for Speed: The Run puts players in a race across the country, with courses ranging from city streets to country roads. The game's stable of cars should provide a number of choices for different race types, and PlayStation 3 players will have an even bigger lineup at their disposal.
Sony today revealed the seven supercars will be available exclusively for the PS3 version of NFS: The Run. The lineup will include the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Hennessey Venom GT, Gumpert Apollo S, Lamborghini Countach QV5000, Koenigsegg Agera R, Lexus LFA, and Porsche Carrera GT.
Developed by EA Black Box, The Run includes a story mode set during a cross-country road race from San Francisco to New York. The game is built using EA DICE's Frostbite 2 engine (the same technology powering Battlefield 3) and features the return of NFS: Hot Pursuit's Autolog online functionality, which lets players compare their progress and performance with friends.
