Off-road racing game due spring 2012 on XBL, PSN, and PC; 45 tracks, 12-player online support, and customizable vehicles included.
Polish developer Techland's most recent game, Dead Island, was released at retail and had players fending off a zombie outbreak on a tropical island resort. The studio's next game, however, won't feature undead or arrive on store shelves.
Today, Ubisoft announced downloadable off-road racing game Mad Riders, saying it will arrive on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, and the PC during spring 2012.
Mad Riders has players zipping around 45 courses spread throughout the globe, completing tricks, and competing against AI or human opponents.
Additionally, the game supports 12-player online races across three game modes and gives players a "large selection" of ATVs and buggies, which can be customized.
Mad Riders isn't the first off-road racing game Techland has developed. The studio was also behind 2010's Nail'd, which received a middling critical reception. Additionally, the developer created racing titles GTI Racing, Pet Racer, and Xpand Rally.
